For mental health, I (try to):

  • Stop coding (even on private projects) before 10pm.
  • Sleep. Minimum 7 hours.
  • Eat. 3 roughly evenly spaced meals per day.
  • Take intentional time off. Spend days with friends/family/books/your console away from coding/coding related stuff (yes even dev.to). Also mute Twitter

For physical health and fitness, I:

  • bike everywhere < 20km away
  • go for a run 2-3 times a week
  • started doing yoga exercises targeted at back/shoulder/neck areas
