Just as an FYI: this wont work over the internet. The concept of MAC addresses only applies to some types of local network broadcast domains only, and even then, IP addressing and routing can be implemented on top of other layer 1/2 technologies that don't have MAC addressing. MAC addresses are not preserved or discoverable beyond a local network broadcast domain.
