The main drawback of bootstrap is that all bootstrap websites look almost similar due to their default designs. That's why I don't use it any more. But, still its the most used framework. On the internet, among all websites, more than half of them are built with bootstrap.
I'm definitely not denying that Bootstrap is the most popular. It's so easy to use and get going.
Your point on all Bootstrap websites looking similar is very valid indeed and without a doubt there are websites made in Bootstrap that look completely different. It all depends on how it's used, which all comes back to the rapid prototyping.

I’m my original comment I actually mention that I’d recommend Tailwind any day. But thanks for mentioning it. :)
Oops! Was replying to Shounak Das.
Never mind...😋
Yeah, sure 👍
You can make your website look different while using bootstrap. Version 4 is pretty good and version 5 is going to be even better.

Bootstrap 5 is around the corner and it fixes a lot of issues with the current Bootstrap. Very excited to see what people do with it.
Yes, beta was released yesterday. B5 is pure JS, no more jQuery. I played around with it, and worked great.
