Why I stopped asking my agent to be careful

Every time I told my coding agent to be careful, it slowed down and still made the same mistakes. Careful is not a rule, it is a mood.

What works: a checklist. Type check, tests, no any, no silent catches. The agent can follow a checklist even when it cannot be careful.
