For gaming, 16G would be more than enough, but if you are gonna do 3D modeling and coding 32G would be sweet. 16G will still do the job perfectly fine but with 32 you will experience fewer slowdowns
In that case, you can go for 8GB if you are short on budget. 8gb is enough as I used blender and photoshop in my old crappy 4gb laptop. A decent graphics card is much appreciated
