Hi! I’d like to clarify one thing about the submission requirements: is it acceptable to integrate the Presage SmartSpectra SDK into an existing project of mine, or does the project need to be built specifically for this challenge? If existing projects are allowed, are there any restrictions on pre-existing code or functionality?
Per the Official Rules development of your entry must begin during the Entry Period (November 4 to November 22), so integrating the SDK into a project you started before the challenge wouldn't qualify. Your submission should be a new project built for this challenge.
You're welcome to use open-source libraries, frameworks, and starter code like the SmartSpectra docs and examples, as long as the project itself is new and your own original work.
Thanks, Jem — I checked the Official Rules as well and see the requirement under Entry Requirements (a)(iv) that development must start during the Entry Period. Understood. I'll build a new project for this challenge and limit any reuse to open-source libraries, frameworks, and the SmartSpectra starter code and examples, with a fresh repository. Appreciate the clarification!
Yes, you're welcome to use any AI model or tool you'd like. Just keep two things in mind:
SmartSpectra needs to be at the core of your project. Every submission must integrate the Presage SmartSpectra SDK into a functional app and use at least one live Presage signal, such as pulse, breathing rate, HRV, or expressions.
Disclose any AI service your app uses. If your app sends data to an AI service, explain that in the Consent and Data Handling section of your submission, including what data is shared.
If you used AI coding tools to help build your project, we'd also love to see it! Embedding an agent session in your submission is optional but encouraged.
This is an exciting challenge! The idea of using real-time human signals through an ordinary camera opens up so many creative possibilities. Looking forward to seeing what developers build!

Real-time biometric tracking sounds wild for an app, but on our packing floor at The Printing World, we'd probably just use it to see who needs another coffee break before a long press run.
Capturing human signals using camera is intriguing! I'll have to try it just to see if it works!
Can't wait to see all the innovations DEVs are going to try with this.
Best wishes 🥰
lesss gooo
Sounds exciting, can't wait to give this challenge a shot. Best of luck to everyone participating!!😄✨

Excited to participate in the Presage SmartSpectra SDK Challenge! 🚀
Planning to build something interesting using real-time camera-based physiological signals and AI.
Looking forward to exploring the SmartSpectra SDK, learning new things, and creating a useful real-world application.
Good luck to everyone participating! Let's build something amazing! 🙌
presagechallenge
Please how can I register to this event?
All you need to do is build something and use the submission template to publish a post

That's a nice challenge
Awesome
We all know it's going to be used for advertising and surveillance.
This competition is just a cheap way to brainstorm ideas.
This is getting Interesting

Um this is already being done to just about every single user of any computer and more certainty in all users of any smart phone!!!!!
