I developed a blog for my friend using Next.js and Strapi and got inspired to start blogging so here I am! I've decided to document my progress with projects and connect with the rest of the dev community.

Besides tech stuff, I love to hike (typical Canadian?), tutor kids in math/programming, play basketball and paint :) My favourite game is letting people guess my ethnicity.

I had heard about this community on the freecodecamp podcast. I love that with software engineering we can create something that did not exist before. I always want to ensure to give back. So here is something that I learned yesterday. I was yesterday years old, when I discovered you can launch certain tabs on Google Chrome each time you launch it. You can do this by going to Settings->On Start Up.

My name is Ethan and I am here to learn!  This is following a successful Navy career, Air Traffic Control Career, and Racing Career.  Currently working full time as an Auto Service Tech and reading "eloquent JS" and playing with VSC.  
I think what has always drawn me to this world is it's size.  I found myself programming a controller for fuel cut-off and electric radiator on a racecar a few years ago and it sparked a great wonder in me.  I love how little i know, because there is so much to learn.
I hope to develop my knowledge and understanding far enough to be of some use and maybe make a living.  Being a mechanic hurts my hands.  This forum has already helped my find a great book on JS!

I'm excited to finally join this community of developers!

I've been reading articles from this community for a few years now, even before I got serious about learning web development. Back in 2019, when I was 18 years old, I got my first little second-hand laptop and started learning HTML immediately.
I wanted to become a programmer but didn't have a clear path yet. I would visit sites like this to get an idea of where I could go and dev.to was particularly helpful with choosing a path. Of course, back then even something as simple as HTML felt magical so seeing you all dabble in the latest tech made me believe, you were all wizards! and this only increased my excitement to learn.

Unfortunately, I faced some severe personal problems since then that prevented me from making much progress. But I've overcome those challenges now, and I'm excited to learn what I've ALWAYS wanted to learn.
I plan to do it the right way (no tutorial hell, that is for sure), and to read and read and learn as much as I can whilst sharing my knowledge online. I also wanna contribute to the incredibly generous community of developers we have online.

Hey there, community,
I started my journey when I was in 8th and I started with the basics of HTML, CSS, JS and created few front-end pages. With a key and eager to know how does Facebook Google and other companies work how they store the data? How do they connect started?
So started The Backend journey with PHP on W3, School looked at it basics how it works, then xampp server and many other things then created my first project that is the simple login page and back then it was my biggest achievement then try linking a page after logging then another success then created a simple Web app of a shopping website.

Then, after in 10th I started learning what is Java and then I tried figuring out how does it works and everything but then I faced many problems using java. JAVA is a difficult language too. thereafter created my first android in the month of March 2020 using web view and then created an app with login page that basic one and then tried it to get this.

The best out of list then succeeded in need to tried and then tried linking my PHP back and to this. till now created seven different apps and four different web and have updated them quarterly and my current version 6.7.1 yeah it’s detail how my journey started and now I am currently doing. I’m currently studying in university. That’s all from my side.
