I think it is nifty and worth putting in an article, but I found it a bit distracting in this one. It would probably be fine if "datename" were a column in the table screenshot.

I have one minor suggestion:
The first code snippet has
datename(month, sale_date) as month_name
but datename isn't in the screenshot of the table above the snippet. Would be good if the names lined up to prevent confusion.
One typo: "By using a Window Function we can see each order for each day and it's total" - (the apostrophe).
