Are you measuring success by 𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 or 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞?

Metrics like story points and velocity can give us useful data, but 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 should always be the true measure of success. As Roman Pichler said, “The goal of product management is not just to deliver features but to deliver value to the customer and the business.” And Melissa Perri reminds us, “You are not a feature factory. You are here to solve problems and deliver outcomes.”
