I reviewed 42 Portuguese service-business websites collected on 18 September 2026 to look for a small set of local SEO signals in their public HTML: a Google Maps link, LocalBusiness schema, openingHours, and consistent name/address/phone (NAP).
Method
I checked each site’s publicly accessible HTML for those four signals. This is a small study of Portuguese service-business sites, not a ranking study and not a guarantee about local search performance.
Results
- 81% did not include LocalBusiness schema.
- 69% did not have a Google Maps link on the site.
- 5% passed all four checks.
I built a free, no-signup public HTML audit at https://sinalpt.com. It checks the same kinds of visible signals: Maps link, LocalBusiness schema, openingHours, and NAP. There is an optional paid €49 offering, but the audit is free.

The goal is simply to make these public-HTML gaps easier to inspect. These figures describe this 42-site sample; they are not a ranking claim or a representative benchmark.
