Change touchpad scroll speed in Ubuntu (no terminal, easiest & fastest method)

Here is how you can reduce the two-finger touchpad scroll speed in Ubuntu without using the terminal.

Step 1: Install Wayland Scroll Factor

  1. Go to the official release page: https://github.com/daniel-g-carrasco/wayland-scroll-factor/releases/tag/v1.0.0
  2. Scroll down to the "Assets" section and click wayland-scroll-factor_1.0.0-1_amd64.deb to download it.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file. A new "App Center" window will open.
  4. Click "Install" to install the app.

Step 2: Launch the app

Open the Wayland Scroll Factor app:

Step 3: Adjust

Adjust the speed using the sliders.
