Are there any coders in Dev.to who has disability? and what are the challenges they face everyday?
As a disabled coder most of time it is really challaging task to keep up with other coders out there.
suffering form rare auto immune disorder and paralyzed from belly-button down I lost my day job and forced to work from home. in the beginning it was a nightmare, I was not able sit in front of my computer not more than 2 hours. after landing first freelancing gig i had to bare the pain and had to work hard to achieve the deadline. even though I'm disabled i do not like to tell that to my clients.
with the positive mindset now I'm able to cover my bills and medical costs, but it is really hard. i wrote this to share my story with coders who struggle to survive just like me. :):)
