I started building idk if to call it a SaaS or a website around May ending there and I finished July there.
FEATURES
I built an AI invoice generator. Not just any normal one. The ones you can store any invoice info. The invoice can be shared either through the link or through the downloadable. But in all with the help of AI assistance I was able to go through.
The invoice comes with a team section where you can create invoices with team and other stuff. The owner can invite anyone to the team as soon they are signed in. And also the AI generative features is actually the best feature. You are not supposed to add any text but rather describe what you want and the AI does the rest.
TECH STACK
I built this with Next.js, Firebase, Tailwind CSS, and Gemini 3.5 Flash. Paystack for payments because I'm from Ghana and it just works.
No team. No funding. Just me and my laptop.
The hard parts were AI prompt engineering, PDF generation, and security. But I figured it out.
What I learned along the way: start simple, talk to users, ship fast. Your story is your superpower.
The product has 8 templates, multi-currency with live exchange rates, team collaboration with 9 permission flags, and a full dashboard for analytics and client management.
I'm 17. Building from Ghana. This is my first SaaS.
And am just getting started.
