Looking for honest reviewers I wrote a book on building local AI apps with Ollama

Hi everyone,

I'm Michael, I write practical, project-based technical books for developers and hobbyists.

I recently released: Building Local AI with Ollama: Build Local LLM Applications, RAG Systems, AI Agents, Tool-Using Assistants, and Multimodal Workflows

The book is built around Ollama, running real LLMs on your own machine instead of paying per token or shipping your data to someone else's API. It's project-based and practical, starting from your first local model run and moving through prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings and vector search, tool calling, multi-agent systems, multimodal AI, and production deployment. The goal was to make it hands-on and realistic, not just theoretical.

I'm currently looking for honest feedback from developers who actually build with local models.

If you're interested, I can provide a free Kindle copy in exchange for an honest review on Amazon. No pressure, I genuinely just want constructive feedback from people who actually build things.

You can explore the example code and projects here: https://github.com/embededsystemguyyyyy/ollama

And here's the Amazon page with full details: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HHXW3QCV

Every chapter includes step-by-step build-alongs, working code, and the reasoning behind each design choice, so you understand not just how things work, but why.

If you're interested, just comment or message me.

Thanks for supporting practical local AI learning.

Michael
