Technical Co-founder/Software Engineer

If you are looking for an opportunity of a lifetime, this is it. We are a pre-seed Fintech Startup. We are creating a defi ecosystem to fill a need in a multi-trillion market that is under-served and/or un-served. You will be joining the initial team which means there is equity and a permanent founding role.

As a Technical Co-founder/ Software Engineer you will lead the design and implementation of regulated payments infrastructure. Your expertise will enable seamless money movement and high-conversion payment acceptance across products and partner ecosystems. Together, we will build bridges, and increase financial access for billions.

The software we develop will be written in various languages, depending on what is most suitable for the project. We code in Web3js; Rust, Python, TypeScript, React, Javascript, Node js and we occasionally have to dive into codebases of other blockchains for interoperability, so we will deal with code written in Rust, C++, Rafiki, TypeScript, and a host of smart contract languages. Speed and optimization is important so, using AI code creators/editors is a must to save time, energy and rework.

Importantly, you’re are a budding engineer who has a passion for Web3/blockchain technology, an eye for security, and a drive to build systems that change the game and understand we are not just another blockchain project.

You’ll be building defi products and services on decentralized networks like ICP, XRPL, Interledger. You’ll focus on ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.

You’re the one who will create a faster, more reliable, and secure foundation for our company's future.

Your contribution will set new standards for DeFi!

To be considered you’ll need to have few years spent learning and understanding the DeFi Ecosystem, AI, Distributed Ledger ODL, ILP. You’ll understand smart contracts as well.

Finally, you’ll also need to:

Write clean and efficient code
Make use of AI code creators/editors ie.. (Cursor)
Be a team player
Be able to review and give relevant feedback
Be able to take ownership of your projects and work independently
Be able to work in a small team
Work asynchronously with our team
Build a resilient interface
Be able to read and understand applied mathematics(finance/economics)
Web3js, React, Typescript, Java, Rafiki
Web3 libraries (ethers.js, view/wagmi, …)
Understanding the architecture of smart contracts, DAOs and Web3 in general
Being able to work from a Figma design
Know how to build code that is ready for change, we expect you to build Web Applications that can accommodate changes 6-12 months down the road.

Nice to have:
Experience or knowledge with DeFi payments:
Relevant project examples (Github link or other)
Remote work experience
Portfolio includes payments, defi project/s
