# Background:

I've always had many (or so it seems) e-readers, mainly because the books I want to read are scattered across different platforms. So I have to buy them all, but after thinking about it, I wondered if I could buy one e-reader to replace them all. The basic requirements are:

- Can read Readmoo
- Can read Kindle
- Can read HyRead
- Can read Kobo (plus)
- Can read comics (plus)

Then I saw the reviews for the [BOOX Nova Air C](https://www.bearboss.com/SalePage/index/7685258), and decided to buy it (2022/06/16) to study it. A side note: if you're worried, you can buy from the Taiwanese distributor for a more secure feeling.

And today, 07/17, a month has passed, so I'll write down some thoughts and potential issues.

# Problems Encountered and Solutions:

Before sharing my thoughts, let's address a few problems I encountered.

## Input Method - Gboard Can't See Word Selection

Many people (maybe first-time Android Device users) will have the same problem as me. When you start an Android Device, it usually installs Gboard for Chinese input. But on e-paper devices, when you install it, you can't see the word selection, so I suggest you change the background color.

# One Month Later Thoughts:

- Readmoo and 漫畫人 (Comic Reader) work great! No need to adjust anything. The Readmoo (讀墨) App can also shut down and resume reading immediately after restarting.
- I bought the official protective cover, and I can use the physical page-turn buttons, making it easier to switch pages.
- The speed is very fast, and the handwriting effect is also good.
- I've already sold my Mooink C, and as for the Kindle Paperwhite, it depends on fate. I'm not in a hurry to sell it.
