Overall, Project 3 was a bit of a mess in my opinion. I feel like there were too many people which over complicated the processes of fixing issues as well as adding new features. Communication was very confusing and difficult as well. I will go over both parts A and B and talk about the positives and negatives of each part.
Part A was fairly simple and straight forward once I got clear direction on what to do. At first I was completely lost because there was so much going on and so many people working together; however, once our team lead broke down our team tasks everything made more sense. Our team was tasked with finding issues as well as coming up with new features. I was put in the new feature group and I came up with adding background music as well as adding a sound for each level complete. Although at first I was lost with so many people working togther, after getting guidance from our team lead it made more sense.
Part B got a lot more hectic in my opinion. Like before, I feel like there were too many people which made everything confusing. After getting clarification from my team lead, I was part of the user testing team. Although this was supposed to be fun, it was kind of the opposite. I was waiting for the other members to implement their portions, there was also some overlap in things being implemented. Another issue was that members did not update their issues on Kanban so I did not know which components were ready for testing and which ones were not. This led to me having to go through each issue and checking to see which ones can be tested and which ones are not ready. Overall, this part of the project was very complicated.
Although this project was fun, I feel like there were way to many people to work on it. Maybe 3 teams would be better than 2, that way the groups would not have too many people.
