Hi, I'm Hendrik I love JavaScript, so I guess I'm a little crazy. Have been coding professionally for well over 15 years now and as a hobby for even longer.
All I can do is tell you what I wanted someone to tell me when I was in your situation:
look for companies that will help you grow in a direction that you want to go.
What that means is:
If you want to specialise in a certain language or technology, look towards companies that offer you projects to earn experience with that subject matter, that have specialist in that area that can mentor you.
I don't really know how the job market looks right now for new hires in your part of the world. And you may really need that paycheck to keep you from debt. But if you have a choice in the matter, certainly take the time to choose what is right for your career in the longterm.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
