I'm trying to become awesome at React because apparently the only thing I can get a job doing is React. I hate React. The only thing I get callbacks on is React gigs.

I've been doing this since 2001 and I've lived through the nonsense. Working on the internet is nothing like it used to be. I guess new things are fun and exciting, and the internet isn't new anymore.
