Solving a Minor Problem Without Overengineering

Overengineering is easy when you’re used to building solutions. Even small problems start to look like they need structure.

This time, I stopped myself. The problem was minor, and the goal was simply accuracy, not elegance.

I handled it quickly, verified the result, and continued with the actual work that mattered.

It’s a good reminder that choosing not to build something can be the right technical decision.
