Quick update on what I’ve been working on.
Retail day traders face a weird problem: free news sources are flooded with clickbait and duplicated PR releases, while professional squawk boxes/terminals cost thousands of dollars a year.
I’ve spent the last month building FinFilt to bridge that gap.
It’s real-time news filter that parses incoming stock/crypto news, tags the assets ($BTC $ETH $NVDA,$TSLA, etc.), categorizes them (Earnings, M&A, Macro), and lets traders filter out low-impact noise with a single toggle.
Where the project is at right now:
-The core web feed is live and working in real-time.
-Telegram push integration is set up for critical alerts.
MRR: $0 (currently completely open for testing).
My main challenge right now:
I need to validate the accuracy of the AI impact scoring with actual traders.
