FLAT Protocol Health Report
This report provides a snapshot of the FLAT Protocol's current metrics and health indicators, based on publicly available on-chain data.
1. Current FLAT Price
- FLAT Oracle Price: The oracle price for FLAT is a crucial indicator for the protocol's internal mechanisms, particularly for collateral valuation. Oracles are systems that feed real-world data onto the blockchain, which smart contracts can then use.
- FLAT Market Price (Uniswap Pool): The market price reflects the current trading value of FLAT on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap. Uniswap is an automated market maker (AMM) that allows users to swap tokens using liquidity pools. The price is determined by the ratio of tokens within the liquidity pool.
2. Total FLAT Supply and Circulating Supply
- Total FLAT Supply: This represents the total number of FLAT tokens that have been minted.
- Circulating Supply: This refers to the number of FLAT tokens currently available and actively traded in the market. The circulating supply is a key factor in determining a cryptocurrency's market capitalization. A significant difference between total and circulating supply can indicate potential dilution risk as more tokens enter circulation.
3. Current Absorption Rate (α)
The absorption rate (α) is calculated as locked SAVE / total RISE supply. This metric is specific to the FLAT Protocol's tokenomics and indicates the proportion of RISE tokens that are locked as SAVE. This can be an important indicator of user engagement and the stability of the protocol's peg mechanism.
4. Uniswap LP Reserves (ETH and FLAT Amounts)
Uniswap liquidity pools are made up of reserves of two ERC-20 tokens. In the case of FLAT, the Uniswap LP reserves would consist of ETH and FLAT tokens. These reserves facilitate trading between the two assets. The depth of these reserves impacts trading efficiency and price stability, as larger reserves generally lead to less price impact for trades.
5. Number of Unique FLAT Holders
The number of unique FLAT holders indicates the distribution of the token across different addresses on the Ethereum blockchain. This metric can be retrieved from blockchain explorers like Etherscan. A higher number of unique holders generally suggests broader distribution and decentralization.
6. Recent Notable Transactions (Last 7 Days)
Analyzing recent transactions provides insight into on-chain activity and can highlight significant movements of FLAT tokens. This could include large trades, liquidity provision or removal, or interactions with other protocol features. This data would typically be obtained by examining transaction logs on Etherscan or similar blockchain explorers.
