I recently created a small GPT experiment with a simple goal: take everyday situations, challenges, or user stories and transform them into funny gaming-inspired comic panels.
The concept is inspired by games like:
- Dark Souls
- Sekiro
- Elden Ring
- Lies of P
- Black Myth: Wukong
- Helldivers 2
- Classic 16-bit Super Nintendo jump-and-runs
The GPT does not just generate an image immediately. First, it asks the user three things:
- What kind of scenario should it be?
- East Asian fantasy, European fantasy, Sci-Fi, etc.
- What class or role does the user want to play?
- Knight, Mage, Sorcerer, etc. or something random?
- What visual style should the final comic panel have?
- Retro SNES, Anime, etc. or even oil painting?
After that, it turns the user’s situation into a small hero story.
Every result should include:
- A hero
- A challenge or “monster”
- A way to overcome the challenge
- A comic panel-style image
- A fun heroic narrative
The main reason I built this was to explore OpenAI’s image generation in a more playful way. Instead of only creating polished visuals, I wanted to create funny moments for the user.
A boring bug report can become a cursed dungeon.
A stressful meeting can become a boss fight.
A difficult project deadline can become the final gate before the kingdom is saved.
I also added clear boundaries: no sexual content, no blood, and no violence. The focus is on humor, creativity, and playful storytelling.
You can try it here: link
I would love to see what kind of “boss fight” your daily challenges become.
