This guide explains how to trade on Infinex, focusing on the underlying tech that enables the seamless Infinex user experience: Infinex passkeys login and the Infinex no gas fees model.
Step 1: Account Creation via Passkeys
Infinex abstracts away seed phrases. When you create an account, you are using your device's native security (FaceID, TouchID) to generate a passkey. This passkey controls a smart contract wallet on your behalf.
How it works: This is a form of Account Abstraction. Your passkey signs a user operation, which is then relayed and executed by a bundler. This enhances Infinex wallet security by removing the single point of failure that is a seed phrase.
Step 2: Depositing Collateral
Deposit USDC from any supported chain (e.g., Arbitrum, Polygon). The Infinex cross-chain DEX functionality means your funds are available to trade on any integrated market without manual bridging.
Step 3: Executing a Gasless Trade
Select a perpetual market. These markets are powered by the deep liquidity of the Infinex Synthetix integration.
Open a long or short position.
Sign the transaction using your passkey. You will NOT be prompted to pay a gas fee.
How it works: Infinex subsidizes gas for users by batching transactions and using a private relayer network. This cost is covered by protocol revenue, creating a true CEX-like trading experience. Your activity also earns you Infinex Patronage rewards.
