Jockey Radio is a new Minecraft Fabric server mod from GBTI Network that turns ordinary music discs into live audio sources. Drop one into a jukebox and nearby players can hear internet radio, HLS streams, local audio, or an incoming RTMP broadcast through Simple Voice Chat.1
Server operators manage everything through /jockey, creating discs, setting their range and appearance, monitoring stream status, and even running several stations at once. OBS, SavePoint, and other broadcast tools can push directly into the Minecraft server, while SavePoint stations can also expose now-playing information in-game.1
The project builds on Simple Voice Chat’s current Minecraft 26.2-compatible Fabric release, so players only need the normal voice-chat client rather than a separate Jockey Radio mod.2 The release also bundles ffmpeg and yt-dlp for managed hosts where shell access may not be available.
There is considerably more around scaling, early testing, platform-link safeguards, and setup in the full project page, which is worth reading if live audio inside a Minecraft server sounds interesting.
Author share note:
"We built Jockey Radio to make a Minecraft jukebox behave more like a real broadcast endpoint. You can attach a live station, push an RTMP feed from OBS or SavePoint, or play server-hosted audio and let nearby players hear it naturally in-game."
