The 12,50 vs 12.50 bug every backend developer meets eventually 😄

Everything works fine locally.

Then production suddenly starts behaving weird because another environment uses:

12,50 instead of: 12.50

Then:

1. APIs fail
2. parsing breaks
3. calculations become wrong
4. JSON serialization breaks

How many of you have fought this bug in production?
