Love this kind of topic, because many people can identify.

I had many good interviews but companies weren't what i was looking for, so i got practice on talks and some tests.

I always was nervous but in my last interview I decided to don't get nervous and one manager told me "you look too calm for this company" (i think he meant i was lazy), rejected because that, wtf?

I'm an engineer but i dont like math xD (just find it boring) I know many things about invoice, stadistics, financial reports, contability, taxes, import tariffs, because I developed so many ERP systems and get used to it.

A couple of months behind, I was to a transnational company for a php job, they have and old erp system written in visual basic and mssqlserver and they wanted some modules in php. Interviewed by an HR girl, she dind't know nothing, just did simple questions and then a quiz about the technologies used in windows server (users, roles, active directory) what? insert pikachu meme here

Half hour later, a sqlserver test, never used this before (i know about mysql, postgres, mongodb). Was a sql of clients divided by some categories and filtering incompleted or wrong data for another report (was a copy of the production data with many erros), I find something called "sqlmanager" and openedit, i was nervous but when i find the database and the sql window i did the sql and testing because some sintax was so diferent, subqueries savedme time. I was the only one who finished, over other 6 candidates.

I asked, this inst a php job right? the manager was so nice and polite, he told me "we need some one who can repair computers and servers, and improve our android app, and install some switches and routers and help in our slow system", then we moved to another empty room and he changed with a really bad mood and started to be the bad cop.

toldme that his programmers think to quit the company and no one can handle the system. That i need to know everything about them and their work. And that means working every night and weekends with them. Then he started to do some android questions (I don't work with android but i know a couple things) but he doesn't trust in the answer that i did.

Then he makes math questions and exercises, yes i was so bored with that, i feel like in high school again. Then he raged "that's not the answer", "the answer is 2.5 how can't you know that?". I doubt about myself that moment, check again, I was right. he said "2.5 is the average between times". Then I realized, he forgot what he asked, we are not calculating averages! told him and he started to scream "you are like them didn't you?", (I think he refered to the others programmers), so i just get up and exit without hesitate.

Most weird thing that happened to me.
