From idea to 35 users: My SaaS journey and why Iโ€™m moving on

Hey developers ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m a student who recently built a SaaS product called HabitFlows, a web app designed to help people track habits and stay consistent.

๐ŸŒ Live: https://habitflows.in

๐Ÿ’ก The Idea

I wanted to build something simple but useful. Habit tracking is something everyone struggles with, so I decided to create a clean and minimal web app.

โš™๏ธ Tech Stack

Backend: Django
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JS
Database: SQLite / PostgreSQL
Deployment: Live on custom domain

๐Ÿš€ What I Built

User authentication system
Habit tracking dashboard
Progress tracking UI
Fully deployed SaaS

๐Ÿ“Š Traction

35+ registered users
Working product with real usage

๐Ÿ˜“ Challenges

Getting initial users was tough
Designing a clean UI took multiple iterations
Managing deployment & bugs as a student

๐Ÿ’ญ Why Iโ€™m Selling

I want to explore new ideas and projects, and I donโ€™t have enough time to scale this properly.

Instead of letting it sit idle, Iโ€™d rather pass it to someone who can grow it further.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Open for Sale

Iโ€™m open to selling the full project:

Domain
Source code
Deployment setup

๐Ÿ‘‰ If youโ€™re interested, feel free to reach out.

๐Ÿค Final Thoughts

Building this taught me a lot about SaaS, users, and consistency.

If youโ€™re a beginner โ€” just build something. Youโ€™ll learn more than any tutorial.

Thanks for reading ๐Ÿ™Œ
