Citroën unveiled an electric concept inspired by the classic 2 CV, blending 1948 design cues with modern features like an eight-inch touchscreen and a central steering axis.
The automaker plans a production release within two years targeting a €15,000 starting price.
Practicality and distinctive details in the interior
The prototype features design elements inspired by the original 2 CV that was introduced in 1948. Inside, there are pedals with tortoise and rabbit symbols, a detachable radio and a removable storage basket.
Instead of a traditional dashboard, the car features a central hub that supports the steering wheel and an eight-inch touchscreen. It is noted that the French automaker does not sell its cars in the United States.
