iClever has released the Q950 headphones, a consumer audio device featuring an 80dBA volume limiter and TÜV Rheinland Hearing Care certification.
The hardware includes ANC, a pass-through mode, and an auto-pause sensor.
Battery life is rated at 60 hours (ANC off) or 35 hours (ANC on), with a 5-minute quick-charge feature.
Technical specifications confirm it does not support LE Audio, Auracast, or Bluetooth Multipoint.
Hearing protection and design
The Q950's main feature is its 80 decibel volume limiter. This feature comes with TÜV Rheinland Hearing Care certification, which guarantees that the volume levels are safe for hearing. The headphones are made of durable plastic materials and include metal reinforcement at the fold points, but they are not officially certified for water resistance.
Autonomy and smart functions
The battery offers 60 hours of operation with active noise cancellation turned off, while with it turned on, the autonomy is set to 35 hours. In case you run out of power, a quick 5-minute charge is enough for 3 hours of playback. In addition, the headphones have a sensor that automatically pauses the music when you remove them from your head.
Noise cancellation and connectivity options
The Q950s feature active noise cancellation to reduce external sounds, as well as a pass-through function, which allows ambient sounds to reach your ears without having to take off the headphones.

Although they support audio sharing between two Q950 pairs, you should be aware that they lack support for more modern connection technologies, such as LE Audio, Auracast, or the ability to connect to two devices at once (Bluetooth Multipoint).
