Discover the standout startups from the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 Startup Battlefield 200, where Intero Biosystems claimed the top prize with microscopic human intestine drug testing, alongside category finalists specializing in AI agents, optical computing, and enterprise security.

From thousands of applications, organizers selected 200 companies to present their ideas in a three-day live event. In the final round, five top companies competed for a $100.000 cash prize, which is given without the company granting shares, as well as the competition trophy.

The big winner of the competition

The big winner was Intero Biosystems, which proposes testing drugs in tiny human intestines instead of animals. The main finalist was Apate, which uses artificial intelligence programs that infiltrate scams to gather information.

The remaining distinctions

Separate awards were awarded to companies that presented innovations in various fields:

  • Lola Vision Systems was awarded for the best presentation in the structured world category.
  • Krokos Bio distinguished itself in the sustainability category by cultivating more valuable ingredients, such as saffron.
  • Rein Security stood out in the security category for customized AI business assistants.
  • Lumai distinguished itself in the category of computer optical technology for data processing.
  • Uhura Bionics was awarded in the health category for the development of a bionic larynx.
  • Maka stood out in the consumer products category by offering children's shows based on artificial intelligence.

The award for best booth went to Legali AI, which offers legal support with the help of artificial intelligence and stood out thanks to its pink booth. Finally, the special award for the spirit of the competition was awarded to Shogher Atanesyan, founder and CEO of Ardook Data, a company that collects homeschooling data from volunteers and makes it available to artificial intelligence and robotics companies.
