Meta: New Spaces feature in Muse digital assistant for task organization

Meta introduces Spaces for its Muse assistants, enabling developers and users to build specialized workspaces and automated task boards via text descriptions, complete with third-party app integrations for background data sync.

How workplaces work

Instead of all conversations with the digital assistant being in a single stream, Spaces allows them to be separated by topic. When the user describes what they want to do, Muse can automatically create trackers or task boards for that specific project.

Additionally, these spaces support connecting to other applications you use. This allows Muse to automatically pull data and update your dashboards in the background, without you having to manually query them.

Mark Zuckerberg said he has already used the new feature to create various tools, such as home dashboards and games.

Competition and evolution

This announcement comes shortly after the introduction of Muse Voice, which gives users the ability to give voice commands to the assistant during a video call.
