Motorola has unveiled the Moto Watch Fit 27, a new wearable device running on a proprietary RTOS rather than the commonly used Wear OS.
The hardware features a 1.85-inch gOLED display, an aluminum chassis, and a 420 mAh battery capable of up to 16 days of usage.
Technical integration focuses on fitness and health metrics through a partnership with Polar.
The company has also announced an upcoming AI feature called 'Ask Anything', which will provide exercise guidance and be activated by the trigger phrase 'Hey Qira'.
The watch has a 1,85-inch display, with a maximum brightness of 1.500 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a matte aluminum frame and a silicone strap, instead of the fabric strap of the previous Watch Fit. The frame will be released in silver and black, while the straps in blue, mint green and pink.
It records heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and menstrual cycle. It recognizes more than 100 types of exercise and counts steps and distance. It also has a notification for when the user is standing still and a function that calculates the calories burned during the day.
In partnership with Polar, the watch offers tools to track running, daily movement and exercise intensity. The Serene mode guides the user through breathing, while the Nightly Recharge and Sleep Plus Stages modes track sleep quality and stages, including light, deep and REM sleep.
