Design and appearance
Unlike its predecessor's matte finish, the back of the new phone is glossy and reflective. The device comes in three colors: blue, gray, and green. It measures 6,36 by 3,03 by 0,29 inches and weighs 6,8 ounces. It's dust and water resistant, and has a glass screen protector.
Screen and performance
Its screen is 6,7 inches, has a resolution of 2.340 by 1.080 pixels, an adaptive refresh rate for smooth motion, and a maximum brightness of 1.900 nits. Inside, there is a Samsung processor with 8GB of memory and 128GB of basic storage. In the well-known speed tests, the device scored 2.364 points in the single-core test and 7.920 in the multi-core test.
Battery and connectivity
Its battery has a capacity of 4.900mAh and lasted 15 hours and 10 minutes in continuous video playback tests. It supports wired charging up to 45W and wireless 15W. The USB-C port now has older specifications, limiting file transfer speeds and removing the ability to connect wired displays.
Cameras and software
The camera system includes:
- 50 megapixel main camera
- 12 megapixel wide-angle camera
- Third 8-megapixel camera with three times optical zoom
- 12-megapixel front camera for selfies
The phone runs Android 17 with One UI 9 on top, and the company offers a seven-year warranty on software and security updates. It also includes AI features like document scanning, photo editing with natural language descriptions, and My FanCam.
