According to a Reuters report on October 14, 2026, SpaceX has imposed speed restrictions on its Starshield series of military satellite terminals operating in Ukraine. Presidential advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov said that the restrictions were activated without any prior warning.
Which terminals are affected?
This movement especially affects terminals that are in motion and are mounted on military vehicles and drones, when they are moving at speeds greater than 160 kilometers per hour.
“Our defense forces did not receive any warning about this restriction, and this led to the interruption of many missions,” Serhiy Beskrestnov said.
