Design and durability
The lock is available in matte black and satin nickel. The exterior features water resistance, a traditional key slot, and technology that allows you to unlock your Apple device when you approach it. It also supports the use of special key fobs and one-touch locking on the outer edge. A separate keypad for entering a passcode is available for $79.
Inside the device there is a dual-core processor, a Bluetooth transmitter, a sensor that detects whether the door is open or closed, and a compartment for a CR12 battery, which offers autonomy of up to one year.
Operating modes and connectivity
The lock works with Alexa, Google Home, HomeKit, and SmartThings. Because it doesn't have a built-in internet connection, remote control requires a separate compatible router device.

Unlocking can be done with a digital key, with the key fobs, via the mobile application or with a traditional key.
