I built a career ladder tool that's shows your next two possible roles and also if you select your end role depending on your current role, it will give you an entire career path. with number of years in each of the roles and the skills required.
I am on way to build something which linkedin does not have, my idea is to show any user with any designation should be able to see their subsequent roles. It could be a lateral role, a promotion or a senior role with relevant timelines.
