If you searched for a Final Round AI alternative, it's worth being clear about what you're replacing. Final Round AI's main product is Interview CoPilot, which, in its own words, "listens to your live interview and delivers real-time answers in a private window only you can see." Its practice mode, Practice Interview, now lives inside Interview CoPilot and needs a paid plan. The homepage advertises Pro from $25 a month, and what you pay depends on the billing period and the current offer. The free plan has no practice interviews.
If what you actually want is to get better at interviews, here's what I'd use instead. I built one of these, DevInterview.AI, so I've marked it. Every price comes from the vendor's own site, checked on October 19, 2026.

DevInterview.AI: practice is the whole product
DevInterview.AI runs unlimited live voice mock interviews: a 30-minute coding round in an editor that runs your code, a 45-minute system design round on a canvas, and a 30-minute behavioral round. Coding and system design are set to your target company and level, behavioral to your level. The interviewer talks, asks follow-ups and pushes back, and every round ends with a scored report and a hire verdict. It doesn't run during your real interview. That's on purpose.
The first interview is free, no card. Unlimited interviews are $19.99 a month, $49.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year. Every rating it has ever received is public on its reviews page.
Where it falls short: it has no resume tools or job search features, and the interviewer is an AI, not a person who runs real hiring loops.
interviewing.io: free AI, or a human when it counts
Its AI Interviewer is free and, per its site, runs coding and system design interviews in the style of a FAANG mock, with feedback at the end. When you want an experienced human, sessions start at $179. One of those in the last week before an onsite is worth it if you can afford it.
Peer mocks on Aced (formerly Exponent)
Free accounts get 5 peer mock interviews a month. You're matched with another candidate and you take turns interviewing each other. Every session needs scheduling, but it's real practice with a real person, for free.
Yoodli: for how you sound
If your problem is rambling or rushing rather than the content, Yoodli's AI roleplays give feedback on delivery, clarity, pacing and effectiveness. It's a communication coach, not a technical interviewer.
ChatGPT voice mode: the free starting point
You can prompt it to act as an interviewer, give you a problem and push back. That's a fine start. The structure, the follow-ups and any scoring are whatever you set up yourself.
A note on copilots
Using hidden help during a live interview breaks most companies' interview rules, and if you get the offer, you still have to do the job. Practice is slower, but it's the version that still works in the onsite and on the job.
Where this fits
If you're starting from scratch, my 8-week study plan gives one tool per step: NeetCode for patterns, Hello Interview for system design, DevInterview.AI to practice out loud, and an optional session with a human interviewer.
Prices checked on each vendor's own site on October 19, 2026. The full comparison, with sources, is on devinterview.ai.
