This is a submission for the World's Largest Hackathon Writing Challenge: After the Hack.
I always thought creating your own app is for technical people. Thank you Bolt for proving to me how wrong I was! Without writing a single line of code, I was able to build an MVP for my business idea which I was dreaming about.
And the best thing is that it took me less than 24h to create it and check if the world needs this solution (spoiler - the world needs)
As a Project Manager with a strong marketing background, I always see opportunities, but struggle with technical implementation. The self-doubts stopped me even though I have a million cool business ideas to create.
Vibe coding is super simple and easy. You only have to have a plan and then you go.
Yes, you have to experiment. Yes, it won’t be perfect. Yes, you can spend a couple of hours changing simple things, but this is what the journey is about.
When you understand your goal, your audience, you think you know what’s most important for your future customers. Why “you think”? Because a startup is constant change. You’ll never be fully prepared to launch, so move on.
My project is an AI companion for women who struggle with this “good girl” syndrome. If you’re a woman, the chance that you have it is pretty high. We have a lot of self-doubts, struggle with overthinking, and pretty often are scared to apply for the dream job because we’re sure there are better candidates.
Being your biggest critic is okay until it blocks you- and this is where my application comes in.
_Soulvia _ is not going to replace your psychotherapist. Soulvia is here to help women overcome overthinking and start to believe in themselves.
AI can’t replace a real human, and therapy is just too expensive for most women. That’s exactly why I created Soulvia. AI makes it affordable, and experienced psychiatrists make it effective.
How the application works:
- Whenever you need support, you can write down everything that is bothering you
- Based on the conversation, Soulvia (AI) is here to listen to you, understand your emotions, and guide you to the right exercises
- The exercises are created together with professionals, and there are plenty tailored to specific problems. You can use filters to find what you need and save your favourites for later.
Understanding your emotions helps you learn yourself better and avoid situations which are painful for you.
Future plans:
• I’m also planning to add meditations tailored to specific challenges.
• A user tracker to help people stay consistent with their exercises and meditations.
• And a community space, so women can see they’re not alone in what they’re going through.
There are multiple ways to monetize the business idea. It can be a subscription plan or additional payment for extra features like meditations or particular exercises.
Currently, I’m working with psychiatrists on creating dedicated exercises and trying to optimize the user flow. Not easy, but challenges excite me. I already have a couple of friends who are interested in joining my app and can’t wait for me to finish everything.
Seeing people get excited about my product (even while it’s still in progress) is absolutely priceless. I finally know how to bring my ideas to life, and I don’t need to be a tech person to do it.
