My Learning Journey / Project Overview
I participated in the Kaggle AI Agents Intensive to explore AI agents and their real-world applications. For my capstone, I developed an AI-Powered HR Leave & Payroll Agent, which automates leave approvals and payroll updates in an organization, reducing manual work and minimizing errors. This project allowed me to apply AI agents to a practical enterprise workflow.
Key Concepts / Technical Deep Dive
The project utilized several key technologies: Python, NLP, RAG systems for context-aware decision making, Streamlit for building the interactive interface, and Docker for deployment. I designed the system to understand leave requests in natural language and automatically update payroll, ensuring policy compliance and accuracy.
Reflections & Takeaways
Through this capstone, I strengthened my understanding of AI agents and their applications in business workflows. I learned how to integrate multiple technologies to solve complex problems, improve efficiency, and build scalable AI solutions. This experience enhanced both my technical skills and problem-solving abilities, and it motivates me to continue developing intelligent systems that have real-world impact.
