The PlotSenseAI Hackathon 2025 is here. An open-source global challenge designed for developers, engineers, and innovators who want to push the boundaries of AI and dev tools.

From 19 September – 21 October 2025, you’ll learn, build, and compete alongside a community of builders shaping the future of technology.

About the Hackathon

This hackathon is organized by PlotSenseAI in partnership with Havilah Academy. It brings together a global community of developers and open-source enthusiasts to:

Experiment with machine learning and development workflows.
Learn from live workshops during the opening weekend.
Build impactful projects across two main tracks.
Gain recognition, connections, and opportunities in the open-source ecosystem.

Tracks:

PlotSense ML – for AI/ML-focused projects.
PlotSense Dev – for developer tools and infrastructure.

Timeline:

Workshops: 19–21 September 2025
Project Building & Submissions: 21 September – 21 October 2025 (23:59 UTC)

Eligibility

Open to participants worldwide.
18 years and older (unless restricted by local laws).
Join as an individual or team (no size limit).
Following PlotSenseAI and Havilah Academy on X, LinkedIn, and YouTube is required for prize eligibility.

Rules

All projects must be open-source (MIT, Apache 2.0, or GPL license).
Participants retain ownership of their submissions.
Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism or malicious content.
Teams may use open-source frameworks and third-party libraries if rights are respected.

Prizes

Track 1 – PlotSense ML: £200
Track 2 – PlotSense Dev: £400

Additional recognition includes:

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated by the PlotSenseAI team and invited judges based on:

Originality – creativity and innovation.
Technical Quality – execution, architecture, and robustness.
Impact – usefulness, problem-solving potential, and reach.
Open-Source Contribution – clarity, documentation, and community value.

Judges’ decisions are final.
