Tifo 1.7 is out, and I wanted to tell you about it myself.
For a long time Tifo had one job: play your live TV. Your playlist, your channels, your matches, on your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV. It still does that, and I'd like to think it does it well.
But a lot of good things live on websites too. So now Tifo can open them. There's a new Browser tab at the bottom, and it blocks ads as strictly as we know how, before the page has even finished loading. No pop-ups, no trackers, no cookie banners chasing you down the page.
It doesn't stop at opening pages. Find a video you like on your favourite site, tap "Add to Playlist", and watch it in Tifo's own player instead. Whatever Tifo has already cached keeps playing offline, and keeps playing with your phone locked in your pocket. So pick something before a long flight, add it to your Playlist, and enjoy it somewhere over the ocean.
The free version holds 10 items in your Playlist. Pro holds as many as you like — one-time unlock, no subscription.
One more thing you should know. We build Tifo without trackers, logs or analytics. We don't collect anything about you. That's the point. It also means that when something breaks on your side, we honestly have no idea. So if anything feels off, please tell us: Settings → Report a Problem.
