The most active series I have is the monthly dev report. I am really proud of the progress I have made when looking back in Jan of this year.

I have followed your series @xulingfeng one comment by comment, and I am a fan. Ancient Chinese military strategy mapped onto modern AI QA and procurement should not work as well as it does. The fiction is the delivery mechanism, but there is fifteen years of real QA experience underneath it, and you can tell.

Building a MIL-STD-188-110 HF Modem in Modern C++
The build log of a real, standards-compliant HF radio modem in modern C++ that has to cross-compile down to a microcontroller, not just run on a workstation. Less a code dump than a look at the discipline behind mission-critical DSP: why the signal path allocates nothing, how strong types keep a hertz from ever being read as a kilohertz, and why the transmitter is the one block where you trust the standard over your own instincts. I'm writing it mostly to pass along what thirty years of embedded work taught me.
Status: ongoing. The overview and "the rules I build by" are up, with the transmit chain next.

where I work through two hands-on tasks a day, one version control and
one cloud, and write up the reasoning and the failure modes rather than
just the commands. Most of it is the small things that cost me an
afternoon. A subnet that is private by a flag rather than by its
location. A Lambda that returns 200 twice and means something
different each time.

I really like this idea. I've definitely come across a good DEV series through one random post, only to realize later that several parts had already been published.
Series are useful because the value isn't always in one article. Sometimes the interesting part is watching an idea, project, or learning journey develop over several posts. But if you don't find the first few parts, it's surprisingly easy to miss the whole thing.
The comments here are already showing why a dedicated discovery space could be useful. There are tutorials, ongoing projects, experiments, and even story-driven technical series that I probably wouldn't have found through the normal feed.
Until DEV has a better way to surface them, having one place where people can share what they're actually reading seems like a pretty practical workaround. I'm definitely going to browse through the comments before leaving this thread. 😄

I’ve already found a couple here that I probably wouldn’t have noticed through the normal feed.

Building an NHS Interop Platform is about why hospital systems mostly can’t talk to each other, worked through a real HL7 v2 to FHIR R4 service on AWS rather than in the abstract. More of it than I expected is me correcting myself in public. Part 2 was meant to be about Terraform and became an account of a secret scanner that had run for months with its rules switched off.

NHS Interop Platform (working title) will be a series about why
hospital systems mostly cannot talk to each other, and why the reasons
are more interesting than "legacy software". I built an HL7 v2 to FHIR
service on AWS some months ago and never wrote it up. This is me
finally doing that: why the problem exists, the architecture,
observability, and what security and compliance actually mean when the
data is patient records. Also where AI helps with work like this, and
where it has no business being.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to writing technical articles , but I'm trying to maintain two series
First one is Learning Go as a Ruby developer, where i share differences between ruby and Go concepts on my learning Journey ,it is more of a study notes not an advances one but it helps keeping me focused
Second one is Design Patterns in Ruby , where i revisit my understanding of design patterns while giving examples in Ruby/Rails , because usually when we study patterns it is low level language like java/C so might not match the book when using ruby for example
i would appreciate your comments/ corrections, insights 🙌
