What I like about Upwork is you can bring in clients and just get deducted 3% from the your fee instead of the usual 20%. What's good about it is the clients will just get pay for the processing fee from their financial institution.
I've tried PeoplePerHour, Freelancer, Fiverr and Guru. I've had one client on Freelancer but never got any after.
