I’m a solo developer, I moved to Ireland from South Africa. I spend most of my time coding for myself, little projects, ideas, and experiments but often feel like I’m on a completely different wavelength from the world around me.
I’ve never really fit into the typical tech culture or workplace dynamics, and I’m not great at self-promotion or being social online. I care deeply, get hurt easily, and I love things like cats, clean code, and quiet days. Honestly, I talk to myself in my head more than I talk to other people.
I just wanted to say hello and put a small signal out there. If you’re also someone who feels a bit outside the norm and who builds, thinks, reflects quietly I’d love to know I’m not the only one.
