About this song
I don't think I tried too many times to get this song right. The song flowed very well. I was satisfied with the result pretty early on, as it nailed it without mistakes.
This is not the first song I made, but I like to start with this one because it's pretty relaxing, pleasant to listen to, and "safe".
The Troll
The music was originally for a video game. Since it was a nice ballad, the idea of "a nice stroll" came to mind, and of course the pun with "a nice troll" came naturally.
Then the style really had to match the title. Everything seem to flow so well with this song. It has the catchy tune from my video game music. It's a bit hard to believe it's sung by an AI. I feel this is the kind of song that could have very naturally been sung by a human, because it's not very elaborate or difficult.
While for a lot of songs, I was a bit mind-blown by the AI, for this one, I was just satisfied that it gave me a nice sweet song out of the melody and lyrics I wrote.
Those lyrics
I was really turning around the concept of "meeting a nice troll while having a nice stroll". The entire concept turned towards it, singing about meeting a troll in a very cute way, and thinking "oh, this troll is so nice". Then at the end, reminding the listener that this is a troll we're talking about, so introducing a bit of "wild mischief".
Overall, I'm just really satisfied with the result. I feel some strange satisfaction hearing that word: "stroll". Maybe I'm just weird...
π Come back next week for another fun song!
