React native splash screen help

I need help with the splash screen. i initialized a new project with expo and then build an apk from it just as it is. i noticed that when i tried to open it on my android device, a blank white screen comes for a sec and then the splash screen comes. But just for checking when i tried opening the expo go app and see how it behaves, it just instantly showed the splash screen right after clicking, no blank white screen. how can achieve that in my app, so when i click on it instantly the splash screen shows up, no blank white screen...For reference its just a default expo initialization. nothing added, noting removed.Want it to work like the gif below
