I am a generalist and I realize/start to see how shallow my depth is. I can write CRUD APIs, basic auth, design/build a cross-platform interface from scratch. The question is, is it good? I'm not a UI/UX person so usually the things I build are functional but they look bad.

I'm working on figuring out how to handle JWTs currently. After I write a full auth process from scratch, I will probably start to use/switch to off the shelf stuff eg. Firebase.

From PHP it was easy to just carry around a session(not talking about Laravel, just plain PHP).

Redux is on my to do list, it seems like a beast I have to tackle but I also don't have any real reason to use it other than just "knowing it". I'm aware of context and I think it's not ugly anymore(big wrapper blocks).

I have the issue of jumping on projects. I have a lot. My ultimate goals are to launch several online businesses/financial independence, that sort of thing. Though I generally enjoy hacking at stuff/building things. I'm just currently burdened with fear of poverty.

Most of my projects currently are personal life improvement micro apps eg. budget, gamifying habits, etc... but I also have several SaaS type I'm working on.

I don't have much time anymore. I mean I do the 9-5 and it takes me an hour per day of transportation. I try to work out 4 days a week so with that and eating/going to sleep regularly. I'm only really free on weekends. So I'm not really looking for contributing to anything big at this time. Maybe if it was paid or I shared an interest in whatever it was.
