to install angular6 and material is very easy, you don't believe me?...look this:
With this you can install materia+angular6+nav:
ng generate @angular/material:material-nav --name <you-component-name>
But you think, nothing else?....I say nop, there is more, look:
ng generate @angular/material:material-dashboard --name <you-component-name>
