If it's a low-profile keyboard that allows you to type without moving your arms too much then yes.
A good chair with proper armrests aligned with your table is key as well; elbows hanging is a big F.
Wether the armrests should be "4D" or not will depend mainly on your arm length and how wide is your back. Make sure you can type anything without the need of weird arm position!
